ARIASP was a World Bank financed Multi-sector agricultural services project involving Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Fisheries, and Irrigation, PWD sector. The main objectives of ARIASP are:

   1.     Improvement of equity and poverty alleviation;
   2.     Improvement of nutrition of rural poor;
   3.     Acceleration of growth of the farm sector;
   4.     Capacity building of state government technical services for project planning
           and implementation;
   5.     Association of community in project activities with NGO’s as facilitators and
   6.     Commitment to the liberalization process.
