- Training of Trainers (State Level): This training is planned as a part of capacity building of District Level Environmental Officers (DETOs) of the line department towards streamlining the implementation of EMF provisions, in the first two years of the project. The objective of the programme is to develop the DETOs as future trainers to organize similar kind of awareness programmes at the district level. LEA Associate South Asia (LASA) has been engaged as the external training consultant. The first phase of the training has been completed successfully from 22nd Sep to 6th October, 2005.
- District Level Environmental Awareness programme for Officers: Towards generating environmental awareness among the District level officers, an awareness campaign under the aegis of EMU has been organized in all project implementing districts where the DETOs were the resource persons. This programme significantly helped in understanding the different environmental obligations in AACP of the officers closely involved in the project.
- Environmental Awareness programme for Beneficiaries: An awareness drive for beneficiaries of AACP will be organized by involving NGO and DETOs at district level for each department.
